Leapmotor B05 Interior
The Leapmotor B05 offers a clean, spacious, and practical cabin designed for daily comfort. Its five-seat layout provides generous passenger space, with good rear shoulder room, headroom, and reclining rear seats for longer journeys.
Inside, the B05 is available with Light-Grey or Shadow-Grey interior themes. The seats are trimmed in OEKO-TEX certified eco-leather, with electric front seat adjustment, heating, and ventilation included as standard. A panoramic sunroof, automatic air conditioning, rear air vents, soft-touch materials, and 64-colour ambient lighting help create a comfortable and modern cabin feel.
Practicality is also strong. The boot offers 345 litres of space, expanding to 1,400 litres with the rear seats folded. There are also 25 storage spaces throughout the car, plus two rear ISOFIX child seat fixings.
Leapmotor B05 Connectivity and Infotainment
The B05 is built around a smart digital setup, featuring a 14.6-inch 2.5K HD infotainment touchscreen and an 8.8-inch instrument cluster. Leap OS 4.0 Plus provides a modern, smartphone-like user experience with real-time navigation and easy access to key vehicle functions.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included as standard, along with wireless smartphone charging, 4G in-car Wi-Fi, dual-zone voice command, and a 12-speaker audio system. Over-the-air updates help keep the system current over time.
The Leapmotor App adds remote functions such as air conditioning control, battery pre-heating, scheduled charging, central locking, vehicle status checks, seat heating and ventilation, heated steering wheel control, and car location. Smartphone keyless entry is also supported, with an NFC card supplied as a backup.
Leapmotor B05 Exterior and Design
The Leapmotor B05 has a bold hatchback design with coupe-inspired styling and a clean aerodynamic profile. With a drag coefficient of 0.26, it is one of the most aerodynamic vehicles in its sector.
The exterior includes automatic LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, LED taillights with a “Wing Star” design, front fog lamps, flush-fitting door handles, frameless windows, and 19-inch alloy wheels. Gloss black trim details add contrast across the grille, lower sills, window surrounds, and door mirrors.
A panoramic sunroof with electric sunshade completes the design, bringing more natural light into the cabin while allowing shade and privacy when needed.
Leapmotor B05 Performance and Battery Range
The Leapmotor B05 delivers strong electric performance from a rear-mounted motor producing 215 horsepower. With Launch Control, it can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 6.7 seconds.
The B05 has been tuned for European roads, using a McPherson front suspension setup and an integrated rear multi-link arrangement. Combined with rear-wheel drive and 50:50 weight distribution, it is designed to feel stable, comfortable, and engaging to drive.
The 67.1kWh usable battery provides a WLTP range of up to 300 miles. DC rapid charging at up to 174kW allows the battery to charge from 30 percent to 80 percent in just 17 minutes, making the B05 practical for both daily use and longer journeys.
