New Leapmotor B03 Revealed: An Electric Hatchback Built for Everyday Life

Leapmotor has unveiled the new B03, a compact electric hatchback combining stylish design, clever storage and an impressive level of standard equipment. Set to go on sale in the UK from early 2027, the B03 will bring another exciting addition to the Leapmotor range at Advance Motors.

With up to 242 miles of range, rapid charging and a surprisingly spacious interior, it offers plenty for drivers considering their next electric car.

Electric Driving Made Easy

The new Leapmotor B03 pairs a 53kWh battery with a 145kW electric motor, delivering smooth, responsive performance and acceleration from 0–62mph in 7.6 seconds.

A driving range of up to 242 miles on the WLTP combined cycle makes it well suited to daily commutes, shopping trips and journeys further afield. When you need to recharge, DC rapid charging at up to 133kW allows the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 21 minutes.

A heat pump comes as standard, helping to warm the cabin efficiently, while Comfort, Standard and Sport driving modes let you adjust the driving experience to suit your journey.

Compact Outside, Clever Inside

At just over four metres long, with a turning circle of 9.8 metres, the B03 is designed to feel at home on busy streets and in tight parking spaces.

Inside, flexible seating and thoughtful storage help make the most of the available room. The boot offers 405 litres of capacity, increasing to 1,305 litres with the rear seats folded.

Leapmotor’s innovative LeapFlex rear seat bases lift upwards to accommodate taller items, while a fold-flat front passenger seat provides extra flexibility for longer loads. A dual-level boot floor and the 90-litre underfloor Leap Box offer useful additional storage, including an easy-clean space for wet or muddy belongings.

Generous Equipment as Standard

Following Leapmotor’s “Everything as Standard” approach, the B03 will be offered in one generously equipped UK trim level.

Standard features include:

• 17-inch alloy wheels and automatic LED headlights

• A 360-degree parking camera

• Heated front seats and a heated steering wheel

• A six-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat

• Automatic air conditioning and ambient lighting

• Electrically adjustable, heated and folding door mirrors

A 14.6-inch central touchscreen and an 8.8-inch digital instrument display bring key information and controls within easy reach. Natural voice control adds convenience, while the Leapmotor app provides access to functions including remote climate control and scheduled charging.

The B03 also features 21 driver assistance systems and seven airbags.
