The BYD Ti7 UK introduces BYD's DM-p (Dual Mode performance) Super Hybrid system to the UK for the very first time. Three motors — one at the front, one at the rear, and a longitudinally mounted 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 150PS — combine for a total system output of 408PS. The result is a 0–62mph time of just 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 118mph, all delivered through an all-wheel-drive drivetrain.

At the heart of the system sits a 35.6kWh BYD Blade Battery, which provides an electric-only range of up to 74 miles (WLTP; final specs to be confirmed) and up to 102 miles on the WLTP city cycle.
